Jared Leto's Joker is one of the most anticipated performances in "Suicide Squad."

However, there is a speculation that Joker may have a much smaller role in the supervillain film that fans are led to believe.

Will Jared Leto only have a few scenes in "Suicide Squad"?

"I'm thinking that our exposure to Leto's Joker will be limited in Suicide Squad," Jamie Lovett wrote in his article in Comicbook.com.

"His presence, specifically the Batman car chase, will continue to sew the narrative thread that begins in Batman v. Superman: Dawn of Justice - with the appearance of Robin's costume - and leads to the solo Batman movie, which is rumored to be an adaptation of Under the Red Hood. That's where we'll see the Joker take center stage."

Will fans be seeing the movie expecting to see a lot of Jared action only to be disappointed that they have relied too much on trailers with regard to their expectations?

"I think that the shadow of The Joker is going to linger long and hard over both Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad," Sean O'Connell wrote in his piece in Cinema Blend.

"I don't think we'll see Leto's villain in Dawn, though we've seen his maniacal chicken-scratch message to Ben Affleck's Batman in the trailers."

"And while I believe he'll ultimately surface in Suicide Squad, I'm starting to believe that Joker will have a bigger role once Batman branches off into his solo movies... especially if the rumors of the Red Hood storyline end up being true."

Jared Leto has been a huge part of the marketing of "Suicide Squad." His alleged method acting for the Joker role has been the center of discussions long before the movie hits theaters next year.
