Drake has talked about only wanting to date girls from Toronto amid weeks of rumors about dating Serena Williams.
But it seems the rapper is only friends with the women's tennis champ as the "Started From the Bottom" hitmaker took Ravie Loso as a date during Kendall Jenner's 20th birthday at The Nice Buy in West Hollywood on Monday.
A report from OK! Magazine claimed that the Drake and Serena Williams are already engaged after the Canadian rapper proposed to the multiple Grand Slam winner.
The proposal allegedly occurred after Serena Williams got eliminated from the US Open, and to lift her spirits, boyfriend Drake flew her to his hometown in Toronto, Canada where he asked the question.
"Drake was dressed casually in a black Supreme hoodie and worn-in jeans with black trainers," Daily Mail said. "His date made much more of an effort with a low-cut olive green dress and cropped black jacket that tied in front."
"She added black pumps that showed off a foot tattoo," it added.
But Ravie Loso is from Texas, which contradicts Drake's statements that he wants to settle down with a girl from Toronto.
"Most people I know stay in Toronto," he told W magazine in an interview. "I plan to spend the rest of my life there. The talk, the smell, the sound that comes out of that city is home to me."
"When I think about the girls I want to get romantic with, it's a girl from Toronto who knows what I'm talking about when we drive around the city," he added.
But Bustle noted that Drake might be dating Lavie Roso because the rapper has been talking a lot about Texas in his songs.
There's also the fact that in her Instagram account, Lavie Roso has not made it a secret her admiration for Drake as well as Canada, posting a photograph without caption of the Canadian flag last month.
To date, Drake has not issued a statement on the latest rumor that he's dating Lavie Roso. But that's to be expected as the rapper didn't react to the gossip mill linking him with Serena Williams as well.
