With millions in their bank accounts, "By the Sea" couple Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie could certainly buy seven-year-old twins Vivienne and Knox with the latest gadgets.

But the low-profile pair brought their kids to a local bookstore instead so they buy books for some do old-fashioned reading, away from Kindle and their iPads.

"And the two seven-year-old's certainly found a lot to their liking, leaving the store with a bag of books each, and Brad also carried an additional bag perhaps for their other children Maddox, 14, Pax, 11, Zahara, 10 and Shiloh, nine," said Daily Mail.

Even with their high-profile lifestyle, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are making sure that their kids are all grounded.

In an interview with Women's Weekly in December last year, the "By the Sea" actress and director said that having a large family can be difficult.

"[Brad and I] work really hard at nurturing our family to make sure that everybody is alright and everyone stays connected," she said. "Maintaining a marriage and raising kids is hard work."

"You have to really make sure that your work doesn't get in the way. That you don't do something that is going to put too much strain on your family."

Speaking about their children, Angelina Jolie said, "They're six of the funniest people we have ever met in our lives. We love being home and we love being around them because they are just so entertaining."

Apart from raising six kids, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are also dealing with rumors regarding their alleged impending divorce, as well as their reported financial troubles.

In fact, while filming "By the Sea," the couple admitted that some of the scenes were so intense that some people believed that their marriage is in trouble.

"It's not autobiographical," she told Vogue. "Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters' were even remotely close to our problems, we couldn't have made the film."
