The "Windows Store for Business" was first heard in April during the Microsoft Build 2015, aimed to feature in a store, the needed apps for businesses. The service makes it possible for organizations to manage, acquire and distribute Windows 10 apps for their business, reported Microsoft News.

A new webpage is now dedicated for the Windows Store for Business and the company detailed some of its important features. The service lets quick and easy search of the right apps for teams. Apps can be acquired individually or in volume.

Windows Store apps are in thousands across many categories available for volume acquisition as well as distribution. With Windows Store for Business, one can invite in-house or external developers alike to write and submit private line-of-business apps to one's app inventory, according to the Windows Store for Business website.

IT administrators are encouraged to sign up with their organizational account, like Microsoft Office 365 account and Microsoft Azure Activate Directory. The company will help those who do not have an account in creating one.

To distribute apps using the accounts assigned by the organization, one can just directly provide apps to individuals and groups, or let employees find it themselves from the private store. Managing computers not Internet connected is possible by distributing offline-licensed app.

Apps management is easy as one can manage the inventory of apps by his organization in a place where he can control updates and also assign, reassign or reclaim licenses. The site allows firms to sign up for Windows Store for Business though some links are still broken for now and it is suspected that the live URL will be https://businessstore.microsoft.com/.

Microsoft may be able to introduce the Windows Store for Business with its Windows 10 Fall Update next week. In its initial launch, the feature will be available in Australia, Canada, Finland, Switzerland, Belgium, Germany, Netherlands, France, Sweden, Italy, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Ireland, Indonesia, Japan, India, Russia, Poland, UK and U.S.
