Liam Hemsworth opened to Men's Fitness about his love for Miley Cyrus being real, and now a rumor has circulated around that the former couple is thinking about rekindling their romance.
According to the alleged source from Celebrity Dirty Laundry, when Miley Cyrus, who's now dating Mike Will Made, heard about what her ex-fiance was saying, she immediately contacted Liam Hemsworth.
"[Miley] always love [Liam] too, and that he'll always be the man she imagines spending the rest of her life with," the alleged source claimed.
But that's not all, Liam Hemsworth apparently responded that he and Miley Cyrus meet up the next time he's in Los Angeles after finishing up on his commitments to promote the latest installment from "The Hunger Games" franchise.
"Cyrus's fling with record producer Mike Will Made was never serious - Mike was just Miley's rebound guy. A six-month relationship with Patrick Schwarzenegger didn't go very far either," CDL said.
The interview in question was with Men's Fitness where Liam Hemsworth shared his thoughts on the breakup with Miley Cyrus.
"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage. [Laughs.] I mean, look-we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change," he said.
"And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be," the "Hunger Games" actor said. "She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."
If indeed the rumor that they are trying to reunite is true, there would be no roadblocks as far as Liam Hemsworth is concerned as the "Hunger Games" actor is very much single.
"Yeah, dating's really difficult," Liam Hemsworth said. "I'm constantly traveling, and I don't go out to clubs or anything like that. I have a great small group of friends in my life, but I barely ever meet anyone new."
