In "Hunger Games," Jennifer Lawrence and Josh Hutcherson play romantic leads/adversaries. But in the process of filming, however, they found in each other a friend for life.
One of their favorite things, in fact, is to play pranks on each other.
Josh Hutcherson seems to be proud that one time, he scared Jennifer Lawrence witless on the set of "The Hunger Games."
"I took a dead fake body and I put it in her bathroom in her trailer and she actually peed in her pants," he said. "That is called a success."
Jennifer Lawrence butted in, "Then I kicked him in the temple and gave him a concussion."
Josh Hutcherson also assured that his friendship with Jennifer Lawrence will be beyond "The Hunger Games."
"Since we finished filming, we've all still maintained the same friendships," he said. "It's nice to know we don't have to be on the set to hang out. It's good! People think it's really sad, but it's not really sad because we all still hang out. It's not like we're losing these friendships and that's the end of it!"
Josh Hutcherson also said that it's going to feel different after playing the same character in "Hunger Games" for the past five years.
"It's weird that this has been a part of my life for half a decade now, and I played the same character for all these years and now it's coming to an end," he said. "It's a weird feeling, but I'm excited. I'm excited for the last one to finally come out, complete the series and then move on to whatever's next."
Just recently, Josh Hutcherson proved that he's a good friend to Jennifer Lawrence when the "Hunger Games" star called out Hollywood for the gender bias against female leads in terms of how much they earn.
"I'm really proud of her, and happy," he told MTV. "She's always been a little gun-shy... she's always said what she thinks, but as far as tackling issues, she's never really stepped up to do that. It's nice to see her now taking that step, being progressive, and using her voice not just to make people laugh."
Josh Hutcherson continued, "It's cool that she spoke out like that, and hopefully she does it more... it's just so f-king shocking that a guy and girl coming out of college with the exact same degree, women will get paid significantly less. How is that even a real thing? It's mind-blowing."
