Kanye West has been known to hold no punches when it comes his opinions. But for his new album, "Swish," Kim Kardashian's husband is trying to be coy.
Speaking to Real 92.3, per Daily Mail, Kanye West said of his new album, "I don't want to overly describe it or overly try to hype it up."
"It's sounding good. It's like a sonic painting, and it gets better and better every week," he continued.
But Kanye West admitted that the work on his new album, "Swish," has been "slow."
"I've had a while to work on it," he explained. "I separated with a couple of the tracks that were on my album that I gave to other people."
On the difference between "Yeezus" and "Swish," he said there's quite a few.
"My last album was a protest of music," Kanye West said. "This album's just embracing the music, embracing joy, and just being of service to the people."
"Yeezus" received a lot of hype, no thanks to Kanye West's who was very vocal about what the 2013 album was about.
"People were dissing me and calling me crazy as usual," he said. "Now it basically became the sound of radio and so there was a sound of vindication."
Back in September, Kanye West told Vanity Fair that his new album, "Swish," won't be released for another year maybe.
He said that it's going to be a "two-year painting."
"I've been doing that [making a new album] too," he said. "That's like a sonic landscape, a two-year painting."
Kanye West debuted "Fade" at a New York Fashion Week event, which might be going to his new album, "Swish."
"That song I played has been a year and a half in the making and it may be still a year from being complete," he said. "But it was to let people get a glimpse at the painting."
