It seems "Fifty Shades Darker" fans will have to wait some more for the movie sequel to get released as production of the alleged movie has been delayed by at-least one year. The reason is the lead actor Jamie Dornan has asked for more "family time" before filming the sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey."
According to Jobsnhire, Jamie Dornan and his wife Amelia Warner are expecting their second child. This is the reason that the 33-year-old actor has requested to delay the "Fifty Shades Darker" production so that he can prepare for the welcoming of the new child as well as focus on his wife and two-year-old daughter.
Jamie Dornan has also reportedly bought a new mansion worth £1.75 million in a secluded woodland area. The new property has five spacious bedrooms split over three floors, two reception rooms, perfectly landscaped gardens, a tennis court, and a massive swimming pool, according to Latin Post.
Dornan and his representatives are yet to confirm the news.
There are also rumors that "Fifty Shades Darker" production has been delayed due to casting issues. Although the lead characters, Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson, both have agreed to reprise their roles as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele, film makers are struggling hard to find the best suited celebrities to play significant roles, such as Jack Hyde, Mrs. Robinson and Leila Williams.
Speculations are that several well-known Hollywood celebrities have been approached for the roles including Alexis Bledel, Cara Delevingne, Charlize Theron, Ian Somerhalder, Henry Cavill and Theo James, reported Inquisitr. However, none of the celebrities mentioned have yet confirmed their actual involvement in the movie.
The sequel to "Fifty Shades of Grey" will be directed by James Foley and is expected to hit theaters on February 10, 2017.
The exact date on which "Fifty Shades Darker" production will commence is yet to be announced.
