"Narcos", a TV series based on drug-related crimes will have its second season aired next year. Although, this was confirmed by the producers just after the release of the first season, it has now been confirmed that the second season which is likely to go on air around August 2016.
Narcos Season 2 will portray the story of Pablo Escobar's escape (protagonist), according to Christian Post.
Netflix released the first season of the show on Aug. 28, 2015. The story is about the drug kingpin, Pablo Escobar, a Colombian who ran the drug racket and who eventually went on to become one of the wealthiest men in the West. The first season ran 10 episodes which were a hit amongst the viewers. The success made the producers announce another season in 2016 whose dates are yet to be confirmed.
The first season went on at a good speed, and was able to cover Pablo Escobar's life. According to the reports of Christian Post, the first season went on with the story at such a high speed, that it led to producers deciding to go slow with the next season. The show might as well end with the second season, if it continues to run on the same speed.
Another website Vine Report, mentioned that Pablo Escobar made an escape from La Catedral in 1992. A year later, Pablo was gunned down by the police in 1993. Season two for "Narcos" will depict this one year of Pablo's life between 1992 and 1993. The first season covered 1989-92.
VC post reported there has been a casting of a new role of a CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) agent. The role of the agent will be played by Eric Lange. Eric Lange is an American actor who is known for his role in the TV show, "Victorious."
