Apple announced Monday through a press release the iPad Pro's release date of Nov. 11 in 40 countries. The company said 12.9-inch tablet will be available in Apple retail stores costing $799 for the 32GB base model, and can be as much as $1079 for the 128GB WiFi + Cellular version, according to a post on 9to5Mac.
Philip Schiller, Apple's senior vice president marketing expressed their excitement for the iPad Pro's release date around the world, saying it is the "most powerful iPad we've ever made, giving users the ability to be even more creative and more productive with the epic 12.9-inch Retina display, powerful 64-bit A9X chip and groundbreaking Apple Pencil and new Smart Keyboard. We can't wait to see what they do with iPad Pro."
The company said, early response to the new tablet has been "incredible."
The new Apple iPad Pro which also features an all-day battery power targets the education and business sector as well as the creative professionals with its high-resolution pressure sensitive stylus.
There is also the Apple Smart Keyboard as the iPad Pro is the first Apple tablet to offer a full size key set. The keyboard is connected to the iPad via a new Smart Connection at the tablet's bottom.
Together with iPad Pro's release date, are its accessories - the Stylus and Smart Keyboard.
The light and thin iPad Pro makes sketching and drawing natural as it delivers accuracy for detailed 3D design and fine art illustration. The device's innovative Smart Connector port eliminates the need for another battery. The new tablet has inspired developers for the next generation of apps for design, engineering, productivity, education, entertainment, gaming and medical field.
According to Adobe Products VP Scott Belsky, "The larger iPad Pro screen and lightning-fast performance, creatives will be able to take full advantage of Adobe's family of Creative Cloud mobile apps.
For example, the ability to manipulate a 50-megapixel image right on iPad Pro in Photoshop Fix and then send that image to Photoshop CC on a desktop, for further refinement, is the kind of industry-advancing collaboration that millions of Adobe and Apple customers will benefit from."
