It has been months since Margot Robbie played the role of Harley Quinn in "Suicide Squad." But has she somehow adapted some traits of her role, much like Jared Leto purportedly adapted a few traits of The Joker?
Margot Robbie was recently spotted walking alongside her director boyfriend, Tom Ackerley, in London. The Harley Quinn actress was wearing a ensemble, which some said looked a lot like pyjamas.
"Is Margot Robbie wearing her pyjamas out in public?" News.com.au wrote about the Harley Quinn actress. "They certainly look like PJs, either that or the 25-year-old Aussie actress is boldly rocking a patterned tracksuit in these photos."
Margot Robbie is known for her glamorous swag on the red carpet and her chic laid back street style when she's not in front of the cameras. Her recent public outing wearing a weird ensemble might be reminiscent of Jared Leto's New York walk last month.
"The 43-year-old star looked twice as nice as he went for a stroll in New York City's SoHo neighbourhood," Daily Mail earlier reported.
"Jared's brightly patterned harem trousers and colour-slashed poncho went well with his slicked back hair, which he died pink not long after wrapping up his role as The Joker in the superhero flick Suicide Squad six weeks ago."
"The star is known for his Method acting style, in which he stays inside the mind of the character he's playing even away from the camera," the report continued.
Like Jared Leto who has purportedly internalized his role as the Joker seriously, has Margot Robbie internalized her Harley Quinn personality a little too much?
Not really. Margot's pyjama incident may not be more than just a fashion faux pas.
In fact, the actress seems to have moved on from her "Suicide Squad" role now that she's busy with a new film that she's producing entitled "Terminal."
"It's very ambitious as a film and best described as a 'thriller-noir' movie. It's not your generic or average film," the Australian-born actress told The National.
"It's like a British version of Pulp Fiction and Sin City with a very heavy noir influence."
