The plot of "Batman V Superman" is still unknown at this time, but the film, which stars Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, promises to be "emotionally and intellectually engaging."
Atlas Entertainment president Charles Roven talked to Collider about "Batman V Superman: Dawn of Justice," and whlie he was mum about the plot, he teased some of the vision for DC's most iconic characters to be played by Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel and Ben Affleck as the Dark Knight.
"You will definitely understand when you see the movie why we call it Batman v Superman... I'm excited to have people see it," he said. "I think it's really a wonderful film. I think Zack [Snyder]'s done an amazing job, all of the actors who are in it, we were so lucky."
Aside from Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill, "Batman V Superman" also stars Amy Adams, Jesse Eisenberg, Jason Momoa, Gal Gadot, Jeremy Irons and Lawrence Fishburne.
"Just amazing, and they all really bring it. Really great. Very happy," he said.
The "Batman V Superman" will not only highlight the feud between Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck, but will also introduce Wonder Woman and perhaps Aquaman in preparation for the "Justice League" film.
For fans waiting for any news about the "Batman V Superman" plot, Charles Roven said they can take comfort in the fact that there's going to be a new clip shown soon. That should provide more details about where the story is going for the Henry Cavill and Ben Affleck starrer.
"Honestly, you're going be seeing something very soon... I don't know how you define soon but certainly before the end of the year, how about that?" he said. "I don't know if you'll ever get the 4-hour version, but there may be something that's coming along that might be slightly less long than that."
