Nicole Kidman learned her lesson from the divorce with Tom Cruise into making her second marriage more successful, and that's to put husband Keith Urban and their two kids above anything else.
During an interview with Sunday Mail, Nicole Kidman dished on her marriage to Keith Urban.
"As you get older, you're aware that time is precious,' she said. "Everything has to be cherished because that's the thing you can never buy."
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban met in January 2005, sparked a romance and tied the knot a year after. They now leave in Nashville, Tennesse, which she adores.
"Smaller town, slower pace, which I prefer, and you're actually living a life, rather than just analyzing it and talking about living it," she said. "My daughters have Southern accents; it's where my husband's career is, and I love it."
Nicole Kdiman also makes sure to be always there for husband Keith Urban, even if their schedules don't always meet.
"He's a touring musician - they're used to being on the road,' she said. "That's what he's always done and he loves it. He's willing to travel and make it work."
But when they do have respective commitments, they make sure that it's not going to be longer than a week.
"The kids don't like the separation," she said.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban, however, found a way to do their jobs and still be there for the kids. They just take their two daughters to the set.
"The kids love that, too. They have quite a few stamps in their passports," she added.
Back in August, Nicole Kidman's husband by Entertainment Tonight was asked how they managed to make their marriage work, even after couples such as Jennifer Garner and Ben Affleck; Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert and Gwen Stefani and Gavin Rossdale have all divorced.
"It's our priority, you know?" Keith Urban replied. "It's what we love to do more than anything in the world."
