Actor Bae Soo Bin married his non-celebrity bride this past weekend at a ceremony at the Seoul Shilla Hotel. His bride is a graduate student who is 8 years younger than him.

Although little is known about her, she has been described as good-natured, accomplished and considerate.

The couple met through friends early in 2013 and they have officially been dating since March. By May they were already quite serious and had met each other's parents. By July, the actor announced their intention to marry. When Bae announced his plans, he asked fans for their blessing for his new start.

"I will work hard to live up to your expectations as an actor and the head of my own family," he said.

The first half of Bae's Saturday wedding was hosted by Jung Jin Young, the actor known for his work in "The Kingdom of The Winds," "Dong Yi" and "Love Rain." Lee Kwang Soo hosted the second half. Lee is the actor currently playing Prince Imhae in "Goddess of Fire: Jeonji" and he is also a cast member of the variety show "Running Man." Jung, Lee and Bae appeared together in the 2010 drama "Dong Yi."

Lee Eun Mi, Kim Yeon Woo and cellist Kim Kyu Sik provided the music.

A few celebrities and former co-stars attended. Among them was actor Lee Byung Hun, soon to be in the film "Memories of the Sword," actor and director Yoo Jae Ti, actress Lee Da Hee, who is his "Secret" co-star and actress Kim Hyo Jin, who played the neurotic star in "Mary Stayed Out All Night." Also in attendance were actress So Yoo Jin, who appeared in the drama "Can't Live Without You," Yeon Jun Suk who co-starred with Bae in "Brilliant Legacy," and Jo Hyun Jae, who appeared with Bae in the drama "49 Days."

The newlyweds will put off taking a honeymoon so Bae can continue filming his new drama "Secret," which will air on Sept. 25. At the drama press conference earlier this month, Bae said that the couple did plan to take a honeymoon after filming ended.

Besides appearing in "Brilliant Legacy," "49 Days," and "Dong Yi," Bae can be seen in "Temptation of an Angel," "Painter of the Wind," "Jumong," and "Emperor of the Sea."

In his new drama, "Secret," he plays a man so driven by ambition that he will let his girlfriend take the blame for a crime he committed. Fortunately, the actor is much nicer than that in real life.
