ISIS has released an almost 5-minute video that threatens to attack Russia after mowing through Paris as the death toll climbed up to 129.
The clip carries the title "Soon Very Soon the blood Will Spill like an Ocean," and was spread around on ISIS-associated sites.
According to CNN, the video showing ISIS threatening Russia was posted about two weeks following the crash of the Russian commercial plane in Egypt which killed 224 peple.
Russia didn't respond well to the ISIS threat.
"I've read news about this video, but have not seen it myself. I don't know the authenticity of this video, and I don't know the authenticity of these sources," Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov said. "But in any case I'm sure this material will be subject of scrutiny by our special services."
The ISIS has owned up to the Paris terror attacks which left the world in shock as the death toll mounts.
NY Times reported that the attacks were well-planned with three teams working simultaneously to maximize damage.
Prosecutor François Molins told reporters that the terror attack started at 9:20 p.m. of Friday, when one suicide bomber exploded himself outside a soccer stadium. That followed a string of assaults which finally ended at 12:20 a.m. on Saturday.
The most grisly terror attacks occurred inside a Paris concert hall were a crowd listening to a rock band were shot with assault rifles by armed men who brought with them several magazines of ammunitions. When the dust settled, the death toll reached 89.
After the Paris attacks, the world's borders were locked down as governments cranked up the security.
Russia's Vladimir Putin has a close relationship with Syria's Bashar al-Assad, which has been a thorn on the sides of ISIS.
But Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov, a friend of Putin, almost dared ISIS to attack Russia following the video threat.
Kadyrov said, "I state with full responsibility that the one who had the idea to express a threat to Russia and say the name of the president of the country Vladimir Putin, will be destroyed, where he did it. I emphasize that they finish their days under the hot sun in Syria and Iraq, and in the first instant of death meet their eternal flames of Hell. Allahu Akbar!"
