Are Miley Cyrus and ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth getting back together?

The speculation was triggered when the "Wrecking Ball" singer, who again landed in the headlines recently with her racy photoshoot with controversial photographer Terry Richardson, helped the "Hunger Games" actor adopt a puppy.

Wylder's rescue shared an Instagram photo of Liam Hemsworth about to take home a dog. But what caught the fans' eyes was the caption which read, "Thanks @mileycyrus for loving dogs as much as we do!! You helped find this gigantic, 6 month old puppy a new home. @liamhemsworth you will give this deserving baby a great life!"

Apparently, Miley Cyrus helped ex-boyfriend Liam Hemsworth find a rescue center where he can adopt a dog.

Does that mean they are getting back together?

There's really no hint that Miley Cyrus and former boyfriend Liam Hemsworth are rekindling their romance. But, the former couple has admitted several times in the past that they are still friends.

In an interview with Men's Fitness, Liam Hemsworth doesn't really regret what happened because they lasted a long time.

"You fall in love with who you fall in love with; you can never choose. I guess some people just come with a little more baggage. [Laughs.] I mean, look-we were together five years, so I don't think those feelings will ever change," he said.

Liam Hemsworth continued, "And that's good because that proves to me that it was real. It wasn't just a fling. It really was an important part of my life and always will be," the "Hunger Games" actor said. "She's a free spirit. I think she'll always surprise people with what she does, but she's not a malicious person in any way. She's a young girl who wants to do what she wants to do."

To date, Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth have yet to issue a statement on the new round of rumors that they are rekindling their romance.
