Chris Martin has recently revealed in an interview with The Wall Street Journal that his ex-wife Gwyneth Paltrow will feature in his upcoming album "Coldplay." The "Iron Man" actress has recorded a song titled "Everglow" which is a poem about long-lasting feelings and spark in a romantic relationship.
The ex-couple has been going strong in recent times even after their divorce in 2014. Earlier, both Chris and Gwyneth, made it clear that even if they don't share a romantic relationship anymore but they will be always there for one another and that they will take proper care of their children.
The new album also features a chorus sung by the band member's family members. Chris and Gwyneth's children, Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy and Martin's current beau Annabelle Wallis are the main attraction of the "choir." Chris revealed in the interview that people who have featured in his new album definitely hold a special place in his heart, reported People.com.
Martin also gave a sneak peek into the recording process with his near and dear ones, according to The New York Daily News. He admitted that he was inspired Rumi, Persian poet, for the chorus lyrics. His said that his kids did the recording by visiting the studio every day after school. Beyoncé's daughter Blue Ivy's recording was done when she visited the studio with her mother. The Hollywood singer has sung two tracks in Coldplay's upcoming album, one being "Hymn for the Weekend" which is a party song.
"It comes from learning about Greek tragedy, where the chorus chimes in at times. To me, when we use that sound, it's to affirm what I'm saying," Chris revealed during the interview, quoted Daily Mail.
The lead singer of the band also discussed about his ideas of creativity and confidence issues. He admitted that the century old poet, Rumi has really turned his life for better, reported The Wall Street Journal.
