"NCIS" season 13 has been exploring the personal relationships of the team such as Ellie's marriage struggles, for instance. This time it's Agent Gibbs' turn to mend fences with his family, spoilers for episode 10 revealed.
The synopsis for episode 10 of "NCIS" season 13 read, "In the hopes of sparing a family further tragedy, the Secretary of the Navy calls on NCIS to help a sailor battling leukemia locate a bone marrow transplant after his two Marine siblings are killed in the line of duty. Also, Bishop returns home to Oklahoma for the Thanksgiving holiday.
Showrunner Gary Glassberg earlier told Fox that the shooting incident last season will continue to haunt Agent Bishop.
"He continues to struggle to recuperate from his shooting and he will continue to work with Dr. Taft. That will take us into next year," he said. "Then there will be some significant case-related stuff that will connect him with [FBI agent] Fornell [Joe Spano] and take him on an even more significant journey toward the latter half of the season."
