'Minecraft' Windows 10 Edition Beta and Pocket Edition Get First Of Three Redstone Updates

"Minecraft" Windows 10 Edition beta and Pocket Edition received Friday a free update that comes with the first of three simple redstone groups to the Minecraft.

It brings gamer-suggested enhancement for redstone. The .13 update allows gamers to create basic redtone components, spruce dwellings with new door types, explore new desert temples, download new skins for biome settler character and collect four types of fluffy rabbits, reported Microsoft News.

The Redstone circuits feature from the .13 update is the most requested features of players. Redstone mining blocks produce redstone dust, a rare and useful material used as a carrier of signals between objects and can be used to build advanced stuff in Minecraft.

Wires can also be made from redstone dust by setting them up next to each other. Players can then create anything from redstone signal and components like switchable lights, doorbells, rollercoasters and mob grinders.

"Minecraft" Windows 10 Edition beta and Pocket Edition include redstone wires, torches, lamps, levers, tripwire hooks, pressure plates, trapped chests, TNT, buttons, detector rails and note blocks.

Gamers who are already masters of advanced redstone can anticipate advanced blocks like Repeaters and Pistons in upcoming updates as the other two groups of the redstone functionality.

The new update for the "Minecraft" Windows 10 Edition beta and Pocket Edition can be found on the Windows Store.

The "basic redstone components" update introduces new desert temples for exploration with an equally important addition of fluffy rabbit collection.

It costs $2.5 billion for Microsoft to buy the "Minecraft" property and Mojang, the developer of "Minecraft," in September last year, according to Gamespot. The Redmond company is now developing augmented reality headset, HoloLens, which is the major reason for them to acquire Minecraft, Microsoft CEO Satya Nadella said.

The Redmond-based tech company likewise confirmed Minecraft will have support from Oculus Rift by 2016. The Minecraft Wii U Edition will release this year, though there is no official announcement of a specific release date yet.
