For Coldplay's new album, "A Head Full of Dreams," Chris Martin will be joined by ex-wife, Gwyneth Paltrow, and current girlfriend, Annabelle Wallis, on some songs. Beyonce will also make an appearance.
Gwyneth Paltrow will lend her voice to the track, "Everglow," which was a deliberate decision on Coldplay members' part to include people who are important to their lives in the new album, said Aces Showbiz, per Business Standard.
As Chris Martin explained, "Everyone who got asked to sing on our album has an important part in our lives. What I am trying to learn in my life is the value of every human. Inclusiveness is the key thing, and it all comes from that 'Guest House' poem."
Apart from Gwyneth Paltrow, their children Apple and Moses will also be heard in Coldplay's new album, along with Beyoncé and daughter, Blue Ivy.
Chris Martin was all praises for Beyonce for agreeing on the collaboration on "Hymn for the Weekend" for Coldplay's new album, "A Head Full of Dreams."
"She's all goodness," he told Entertainment Weekly. "This album is about celebrating and this angel figure kept popping up and I was thinking, 'Gosh, Beyoncé would be perfect, but she'd never do it.' One day, we were talking and I was trying to drop the hint, but I didn't want to be imprudent. And she said I'll do it."
In a previous interview with BBC 1 Radio, Chris Martin said that the album might be the last even if they are not officially breaking up.
"It's our seventh thing, and the way we look at it, it's like the last Harry Potter book or something like that."
"Not to say that there might not be another thing one day, but this is the completion of something," explained. "I have to think of it as the final thing we're doing. Otherwise we wouldn't put everything into it."
Coldplay's new album, "A Head Full of Dreams," will be released on Dec. 4.
