Miranda Lambert opened up about the divorce with Blake Shelton and the country singer could only gush about "The Voice" coach, who is now dating Gwen Stefani.

In an interview with Cosmopolitan, as shared by Entertainment Tonight, she said that they really tried to make their marriage work.

"Marriage is a tough business, and we gave it our best college try," she said.

But despite the rumors that Miranda Lambert was jealous of Gwen Stefani, whom Blake Shelton is dating after the divorce, the country singer only had good words for her former husband.

"I had a great relationship with an amazing man, so I know what good is. I have a great launching pad for the future. I will never take that for granted," she added.

Being single has its ups and downs, she admitted, "Some of that might mean nights on my porch crying, drinking whiskey, and going, 'Man, this sucks right now.'"

One thing Miranda Lambert won't be doing is to stop making music.

"I feel the sexiest when I'm in my element, which is playing music," she told Cosmopolitan. "It doesn't really matter what I'm wearing necessarily or where I'm at, just on stage with my band playing music is sort of where I feel like I belong and that makes me feel sexy."

Now that Miranda Lambert is single after the divorce with Blake Shelton, Hollywood Life listed six country musicians who would be perfect for "Somethin' Bad" hitmaker.
