Ben Affleck and Kate Beckinsale are reportedly dating on a rebound after their respective divorce from their spouses, Jennifer Garner and Len Wiseman.

According to the new rumor started by The Sun, per Wet Paint, the pair rekindled their romance as they try to move on from their previous marriages.

The two briefly dated back in 2001 when they were filming "Pearl Harbor."

"Kate used to be madly in love with Ben," the insider claimed. "He would make her giddy with excitement any time they were in the same room."

When Kate Beckinsale divorced from Len Wiseman, Ben Affleck was reportedly one of the first friends she leaned on.

"She's turned to him for support as a friend because they've stayed in touch during her difficult time," the article alleged.

"Some of their friends have suggested that they're made for each other and give a proper relationship a go," it added.

If indeed it's true that Kate Beckinsale is dating Ben Affleck, fans couldn't help but speculate that it's going to be a rebound relationship particularly after the news that her former husband, Len Wiseman, is now dating a 24-year-old model, CJ Franco.

But People said that Kate Beckinsale and Len Wiseman are still good friends despite the divorce.
