Money can be the source of bane for any relationship, and Kylie Jenner and Tyga's relationship is no different.

Apparently, according to the rumors, Tyga owns half a million dollars to girlfriend Kylie Jenner and the rapper has yet to pony up the payment, and that was the reason for the recent split.

Tyga's money troubles are well documented as the rapper reportedly is trying to live large but has not finances to back up his glamorous lifestyle.

"Kylie's been aware of Tyga's financial problems since she began dating him," the insider told Hollywood Life.

In fact, it was Kylie Jenner who paid Tyga's debt to a landlord in excess of $130,000 for the lawsuit to be dropped .

"Thus far, Tyga's tab is close to half a million dollars and counting," the article claimed, adding that the issue caused the split. "Kylie was upset that she was constantly paying for his travel arrangements, insurance, payments on his cars and just loaning money in general."

The rumors of the split between Kylie Jenner and Tyga have been circulating since last month.

But Kylie Jenner denied the split with Tyga in an interview with The Ellen DeGeneres Show as the "KUWTK" star insisted that they are still very much together.

"We just, honestly - we became best friends before anything happened, so I think that that's awesome," she said. "We're just like, I don't know, hanging out [and] living life."

But Kris Jenner said that she has "no idea" whether or not Tyga and Kylie Jenner have split.

"I really don't know. Things at my house happen on a daily, anything is possible," the momager said, per Daily Mail.

However, Kris Jenner said that she's rooting for their relationship as the "KUWTK" matriarch only had good words for Kylie Jenner's boyfriend Tyga. "He's the best," she said.
