The hype surrounding Frank Ocean's new album just went into overdrive after recent rumors about an impending release reportedly titled, "White Ferrari."

"It's been three and a half since Frank Ocean released his first album Channel Orange and music fans are getting desperate for him to return," said the website, UK's Joe. "Rumours are swirling a new FO track - or even an album - could be dropped any day."

The rumor about Frank Ocean dropping his new album was kickstarted by the Twitter post of A-Trak on Nov. 23, which read, "Mark my words: in a few weeks u'll hear a song called White Ferrari, I can't tell u who it's by but it's the best thing u'll hear this year."

"With many already reeled in, our intrigue was piqued even further when Rostam from Vampire Weekend - who has more recently penned songs for the likes of Carly Rae Jepsen, Charli XCX and more - chimed in to agreed knowingly," wrote Luke Morgan Britton for NME.

Now, impatient fans have taken to Twitter to express their displeasure about being taken for a ride with regards to Frank Ocean's new album.

It was earlier anticipated that the new album would be dropped in July, although Frank Ocean didn't really specify any date other than the hashtag, #July2015.

Matt Pearce tweeted, "The year is 2015: Frank Ocean attaches his new album to an email but forgets to hit 'send' and then lays down to enter deep cryosleep."

Joe Parry chimed in, "I think it's time we just admit that Frank Ocean was a figment of our collective imagination and move on."

User Luke added on Twitter, "Kobe retiring . Obama leaving . Frank ocean is still missing . I hate 2016 already."

Complex reported that it's not the first time "White Ferrari" was mentioned in connection to Frank Ocean's new album.

"In October, a user from the Kanye West fan forum Kanye To The commented that he had a friend who was in contact with Frank, and that his friend 'told me to remember these words: White Ferrari.' So there's that," Jessie Morris wrote.
