Emma Watson's hair made it to the news headlines as the "Beauty and the Beast" star debuted her short locks on social media.
The UN ambassador posted on Instagram a photo of her stylist, Sarah Slutsky, showing her in front of a mirror with her new hair.
The caption read, "About last night ... @EmmaWatson hosted the @TrueCostMovie screening wearing a @GabrielaHearst knit dress which is handmade at a small atelier in Italy. Paired with @paulandrew shoes (on their way to #30wears) and @stellamccartney 's new bio acetate bag. Topped off with a coat by @behno_official who aims to set a new high standard for manufacturing for India's garment trade."
According to Daily Mail, her fans will likely follow the lead of the "Beauty and the Beast" star by copying her hair following the news.
"She sparked something of a hair revolution when she plumped for a drastic pixie crop in 2010," the British tabloid said.
"Naturally, the 25-year-old's new cut was truly stylish and teased into light waves perfectly for Wednesday night's The True Cost screening," it added.
Talking to Metro magazine back when she cut her hair into a pixie, which was all over the news back then, Emma Watson said that it was a conscious decision.
"I didn't get to experiment with dyeing and chopping off my hair like most teenagers" she said. "I also felt, right, I'm 20, I'm not a little girl any more. I'd been on Harry Potter for ten years so I needed to mark the end of it in some way. I needed a drastic change and that's what the crop was all about."
"Beauty and the Beast" star Emma Watson also said in another interview that boys didn't like her short hair.
"Of course, men like long hair," she said. "There's no two ways about it. The majority of the boys around me were like, 'Why did you do that? That's such an error.' And I was like, 'Well, honestly, I don't really care what you think!'"
