Microsoft Store's "12 Days of Deals" Day 9 was about Dell products and on Wednesday, consumers saved $200 on the Dell XPS 13 and 15, as well as $500 on a Dell 34-inch curved display.

Windows Central gave the following deals at the digital store: Dell XPS 13 with 4GB RAM, 128GB SSD and Core i5 was down to $799 from $899; the 15-inch model with 256SSD and 8GB RAM was up for $1,499 instead of $1,699; Dell UltraSharp 4 curved display was tagged from $699 to $449 and Dell Inspiron 1 with 8GB RAM, 1TB drive and Core i5 5250U was down to $449 from $749.

Microsoft Store not only offers Dell products on sale, but HP and ASUS products as well. The point is, one should check the store from time to time for the deals.

The good news is, some Dell products are on sale on other digital stores, such as the Dell Inspiron 15.6-inch 1080p (7559) gaming notebook powered by Intel Core i5-6300 HQ quad-core SkyLake. It has 4GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 9670M graphics. It is priced $799.99 at Amazon with free shipping, instead of $900. Tax applies in most states but the price is 11 percent off the regular, said TechBargains.

In addition to Microsoft Store's deals on Dell products, it also lists its own tablet Surface Pro 3, now selling for $699, a $200 savings from its regular price of $899. Another deal, the Surface Pro 3 bundle, is Surface Pro 3, a choice of Type Cover and Surface sleeve, Office 365 one-year subscription and two-year warranty. It is priced $968, a $319 savings.

The Surface Pro 3 tagline is "the tablet that can replace your laptop." Weighing barely 1.76 pounds, the tablet is said to perform like a premium laptop in a lightweight and thin build. It comes with the Surface Pen for digital drawing and writing, multi-position Kickstand, fully functional keyboard and a 12-inch 2160 x 1440 resolution full high definition Plus display.

Measuring 11.5 x 7.93 x 0.36 inches, it has a battery life that promises nine hours of web browsing.
