"Narcos" season 2 spoilers tease a very different Pablo Escobar as the release date for the Netflix hit series remains unknown.
Wagner Moura, in a Reddit interaction per Christian Post, said as much as he said that fans will find out a new shade to his character, Pablo Escobar.
"I really enjoyed doing the last scenes in La Catedral during the final episodes...In those episodes it was a different Pablo, he had changed... and that aims to what we are doing in the second season," he said.
But apart from Moura's revelation, spoilers for "Narcos" season 2 don't really have any details just how much different Pablo Escobar would be.
"Narcos" is one of those rare series where the fans already know the outcome. Everybody knows that Pablo Escobar dies at the end, it just remains to be seen whether it's going to be in the second season, or there's going to be a third.
Jose Padilha, "Narcos" creator, told The Guardian that he was very careful about creating a cartoonish version of Pablo Escobar, as well as creating a black-and-white version in their retelling of the history of cocaine.
"Listen," he told the publication. "The bad guys, the good guys, they have something in common: they are human beings. Human beings who, depending on the context, may drop their ethical stance to get the job done ... This is what happens in real life."
In another interview for Deadline, Jose Padilha said "Narcos" chronicles the fast rise of Pablo Escobar in the drug trade/
"The series follows how he became incredibly powerful, his political ambitions and bigger-than-life stories," he said.
"Cocaine was very cheap to produce, highly addictive with incredible profit margins. No one knew what they had until cocaine hit America. All the money that went into Colombia corresponds to the cocaine in America. People died in Miami like they do today in Rio de Janeiro."
Watch out for more of Netflix's "Narcos" season 2 spoilers which will be published here when they come along.
