Angelina Jolie shunned rumors that she and husband Brad Pitt will soon get a divorce as she claimes that they will stick together no matter what happens.
Hollywood's most powerful couple, Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who worked together for their first movie as a married couple in "By the Sea," prove that the divorce rumors are just as it is.
After the couple's wedding last year, the A-list actors decided to have a working honeymoon as they filmed "By the Sea." In the movie, Angelina Jolie served as the director.
"There were a few days when we thought [a working honeymoon] wasn't the best idea," she told Telegraph UK. "There were days during filming last year when we were really worried and it was hard."
But the mother-of-six added that this has made them realize that they can withstand any circumstances by pushing their relationship and love to the limits.
"But at the end we came out of it thinking, 'This was the best honeymoon,' Whatever you go through, weather the storm and stick together," she said. "So it was kind of a message to each other that we are going to stick together whatever comes."
"By the Sea" is a story of a married couple, who decided to have a retreat in a seaside town in Seventies France to solve the issues surrounding their relationship.
Rumors emerged that filming the movie has fueled the divorce between Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt as they are allegedly fight over the actor's acting skills. The "Maleficent" star is reportedly "controlling" their relationship to the point that it has affected the way they work with each other on the set, a report from In Touch Weekly claimed as shared by Hollywood Life.
"He says she's controlled him from day one of their relationship," the insider of the entertainment site said. "Although he liked her taking charge at first, he's come to resent the power he's allowed her to have over him."
But Angelina Jolie clarified that the film does not reflect her own relationship with the "World War Z" actor.
"Brad and I have our issues, but if the characters were even remotely close to our problems we couldn't have made the film. To be clear: we have fights and problems like any other couple," she said. "We have days when we drive each other absolutely mad and want space, but the problems in the movie aren't our specific problems."
Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt, who have been together for almost a decade now, are parents to six children--Maddox Jolie-Pitt, 14, Pax Jolie-Pitt, 11, Zahara Jolie-Pitt, 10, Shiloh Jolie-Pitt, 9, Knox Jolie-Pitt, 7, and Vivienne Jolie-Pitt, 7.
