Amidst dating rumors involving Selena Gomez and Niall Horan, a now claims that this was the doing of the singer's pal Taylor Swift. Meanwhile, the "I Want You to Know" hit maker was said to have hooked-up with her former flame DJ Zedd.
In a report by the Celebrity Dirty Laundry, the 22-year-old former Disney actress and singer Selena Gomez allegedly started dating One Direction member Niall Horan after they were introduced by her matchmaker pal Taylor Swift.
"Taylor Swift is not only okay with Selena Gomez and Niall Horan hooking up but the "Blank Space" singer is behind the hook up in hopes that it will keep SelGo away from Justin Bieber," the report told "It's no secret that Swift hates Bieber and she'll do just about anything to keep Gomez away."
The report also added that Taylor Swift has been constantly trying to convince her to let go of her feelings with Justin Bieber as she despises the "Baby" hit maker for "all the horrible things" he has put Selena Gomez through.
However, Selena Gomez recently denied that she is dating the 21-year-old One Direction member, saying that they are just friends.
"Oh my god. No," Selena Gomez clarified when asked by Entertainment Tonight, as reported by The Hollywood Gossip. "I love him, I always have. He's amazing."
After denying dating rumors with Niall Horan, reports immediately emerged that she hooked up with former flame, German DJ Zedd, after their performance at the New York City's Z100 Jingle Ball, Celebrity Dirty Laundry reported in another feature.
The two were even spotted "kissing" at the backstage, which has fueled rumors that Selena Gomez is "sleeping around."
The "Same Old Love" singer even took to Instagram to confirm her reunion with the "Stay the Night" hit maker.
"My babe @zedd and I performing tonight for @z100newyork@iheartradio SO grateful to wrap up this year with the best people. Thank you NY!!" Selena Gomez said in her caption.
The German DJ also posted his own photo with Selena Gomez while they cuddled up with the caption, "Reunion with my favorite lil Mexican taco to perform #IWantYouToKnow tonight at Madison Square Garden."
