Was a third party involved in Amanda Seyfried's split with Justin Long back in September?
According to Celebrity Dirty Laundry, Thomas Sadoski, Amanda Seyfried's co-star in "The Way We Get By," was to blame for her split from Justin Long.
The article claimed, "Amanda took off for New York to make her debut in an off-Broadway play. Insiders revealed that sparks flew almost immediately between Sadoski and Seyfried."
"Those sparks weren't just on-stage, the co-stars began a cozy off-stage relationship, too," the article added. "It didn't take long for NYC and Hollywood to start buzzing with speculation of a romance between Amanda and a very married Thomas."
It seems that the rumors about Thomas Sadoski being the one to blame for Amanda Seyfried's split with Justin Long are way off. First, the "Newsroom" actor is very much married to Kimberly Hope, after they tied the knot in 2007, and second, he gushed about his wife in an interview back in September.
"She is a wonderful person, without whom I would not be able to the person I am today," Thomas Sadoski said.
"Thomas and Kimberly have recently announced plans to start a family," Hub Mesh reported. "They currently don't have any children, but have expressed their plans on having kids. They have also decided to leave their city home and have bought an estate near the ocean to start their family."
Amanda Seyfried and Justin Long have not revealed the reason for their split.
"The truth is that they actually split up around 2 months ago and never lived together," an insider confirmed to People. "They both tried very hard to make it work because they each wanted to eventually have a family but ultimately they weren't compatible and decided to split up. They are still on good terms and friends."
PageSix, meanwhile, claimed that the reason for the split was their diverse priorities. While Justin Long wants to get married, Amanda Seyfried "wasn't ready to make that commitment."
