Christina Milian opened up at "Turned Up" about her past experience with an abusive ex-boyfriend. The episode was reported by Fox News, which the R&B star followed up with a tweet to support fellow victims of domestic violence.

"So I was 17 going into 18 and I met a boy and he had this sarcasm about him that I just thought was super funny," Christina Milian said in the "Turned Up" episode last Tuesday.

"But that sarcasm turned out to be something a little bit more dark and I had no idea what I was getting myself into."

The "Dip It Low" diva narrated a traumatizing experience with her abusive ex-boyfriend.

"He literally put a bullet in the gun and pointed it at my face," the 34-year-old singer said. "Staring down the barrel of a gun is the scariest thing you could ever experience. It's not funny, it's not for the movies."

"There's a chance of life or death in one click, that's it," she said.

Christina Milian also recalled during the "Turned Up" episode how she tried to escape from the relationship by calling 911 from a gasoline station, but her ex-boyfriend caught up and dragged her back by the head.

"All you could hope for is that someone will save you," she said. "But at the same time, you don't know how to save yourself."

The sexy songstress' story was also reported by Yahoo, which ended when her mother sent tickets for her to go back to New York.

"I cried the night I decided to leave," she said. "The next morning, I took the first flight to New York, and asked my mom to have all my numbers and information changed before I landed."

After the said episode of "Christina Milian Turned Up," the singer-actress took to Twitter to reach out to other women going through an abusive relationship.

"I shared my story with the hopes of helping at least one person get out of an abusive relationship," she said.
