The latest episode of the cable channel tvN's Friday Saturday drama 'Reply 1988,' which aired on Jan. 9, 2016, recorded the national viewing rate of 17.8% in Korea. This is the highest rating the cable channel tvN's Friday Saturday drama 'Reply 1988' has ever received, and one of the highest rate of a cable channel drama. The highest viewing rate per minute from the last episode was a whopping number of 20%, based on the CJ E&M's records, Joongang Ilbo reported.

On the latest episode of the cable channel tvN's Friday Saturday drama 'Reply 1988,' which aired on Jan. 9, 2016, the children of Ssang Moon Dong traveled through time from the year of 1989 to the year of 1994.

The main character Duk Seon (Girls' Day's Hyeri) became a flight attendant, and Park Bo Gum and Ryoo Joon Yeol still quietly growled at each other for Hyeri. Although the friends have met again in 1994, on the Jan. 9 episode, Duk Seon's husband was not revealed to the audience.

The cable channel tvN's Friday Saturday drama 'Reply 1988' will end next week, on Jan. 16, Saturday. After the cable channel tvN's Friday Saturday drama 'Reply 1988' ends, the new cable channel tvN's Friday Saturday drama 'Signal' starring actress Kim Hye Soo will air.
