The protagonists of "Goddess of Fire" all went their separate ways. They would all be able to live their happy lives as time went on but the half happy ending left a sense of longing.

On October 22nd, the last episode of MBC Monday/Tuesday drama "Goddess of Fire" (Script Kwon Sun Kyu Lee Suh Yoon, Producer Park Sung Soo Jung Dae Yoon) showed Yoo Jung (played by Moon Keun Young) disseminating her culture in Japan in the middle of the Imjin War and Kwang Hae (played by Lee Sang Yoon) was nervously in power to recover the people's hearts as he rose to power.

On this day, Yoo Jung tries to run away from the quarters that Lee Kang Chun (played by Jun Gwang Ryeol) had taken over , but Yoo Sung learns that Lee Yook Do (played by Park Kun Hyung) is her half brother and gets his help as she rescues and reunites with Kwang Hae. The two checked their feelings for each other but Yoo Jung chose to go to Japan to keep the people in her quarters safe.

In this process, Kang Chun did not take in Yoo Jung until the end and tried to embrace Lee Yook Do while he was hit by a knife and died. Shin Sung Gun died during war and Lim Hae was captured by the people as a prisoner of war. Kwang Hae took over the kingdom and missed Yoo Jung.

"Goddess of Fire" started with the intention of portraying the best porcelain maker Baek Pa Sun and her tumultuous life and love but viewers did not like this because of the boring and obvious storyline. Especially as the drama started to focus more on the conflicts within the court and revenge instead of the first woman porcelain maker, the drama lost its identity.

Afterwards, the staff tried to bring out the secrets surrounding the birth of Yoo Jung and Lee Gang Chun to raise the ratings but Lee Gang Chun's brazen attitude only made people feel bad about Yoo Jung and it moved away from the intention of the drama.

Here, unlike history, the sudden death of Kim Tae Do (played by Kim Beom) was enough to have people moved to dears but the level of completion of the drama was not sufficient. It was too much to force a plot where the Imjin War started because of Jung Yi and this forced ending led to worse ratings. Nonetheless, despite the incompleteness of the project, Moon Keun Young and Lee Sang Yoon's passion for acting was plenty to receive applause.
