Actress Park Min Ji plays Hong Seol's best friend Bo Ra in the webtoon-based drama "Cheese In The Trap." Bo Ra is tough and loyal and always shadowed by her adoring friend Eun Tak, played by Nam Joo Hyuk. His character is so loyal to hers that it's a good thing they get along in real life too.

"He's very easy to be around, and as he's young we skipped the awkward phase and became close very quickly," she said in an interview with the Korean media outlet XSports News. "Coming up with ideas under the director's guidance and creating scenes together was easy. I had fun."

Park said that Nam and his charming character were very similar.

"Like his character he is witty and that made working with him enjoyable."

Park was glad that viewers responded so favorably to them as an onscreen couple but she credits her co-star with most of their success.

"Many viewers have shown their love for and interest in our acting thanks to the charming Eun Taek," she said. "I'm relieved and glad."

The 26-year-old actress has been acting since she was 15. At that early age, she played a pregnant teenager in the film "Jenny Juno" and was praised for her realistic birth scene. She's appeared in a few films since then, including the 2015 film "Now Playing." She's also worked in several dramas, most recently "The Great Seer" with Ji Sung and Ji Jin Hee and "When A Man Loves" with Song Seung Hoon and Shin Se Kyung.

Compared to Park Jin Mi, Nam Joo Hyuk is a rookie. He debuted as a model in 2013 when he walked the runway for the Songzio Homme spring and summer collection. The next year he had his first drama role in "The Idle Mermaid." After that he appeared in "Who Are You - School 2015."

"Cheese in The Trap" airs on Mondays and Tuesdays. The drama also stars Kim Go Eun, Park Hae Jin and Seo Kang Joon.
