Chris Brown was arrested for a felony assault charge in Washington D.C. on Sunday, Oct. 27 after a fight outside the W Hotel.
The 24-year-old rapper was involve in a "physical altercation" with a third man around 4:30 a.m. said Gwendolyn Crump, police spoke. The singer allegedly attacked and punched another man named Christopher Hollosy.
Brown is currently in custody. The alleged victim was treated at a nearby hospital, released and then was detained as well. The two will remain in custody until Monday, Oct. 28 when they have to appear in court, Us Weekly reported.
Brown is still on probation for his assault on former girlfriend Rihanna in 2009. His sentenced included community service as well as a one-year domestic violence course.
in 2010, he completed the course, Brown posted in his Twitter account: "I have enough self respect and decency to be proud of accomplishing this DV class. Boyz run from [their] mistakes. Men learn from them!!!"
In an interview with UK Guardian, the singer has talked about the Rihanna incident. "I had to stop acting like a little teenager, a crazy, wild young guy," he said. "But at the same time, I learned from it, and it was almost like...I wouldn't say it happened for a reason, but it was something to trigger my mind to be more of a mature adult. To handle myself in situations, don't throw tantrums, don't be a baby about it."
In Nov. 20, Brown is due in court in Los Angeles to update a judge on his probation, The Star reported.
