The drama tells about the story of a young and rich South Korean heiress named Yoon Se Ri it is portrayed by Son Ye Jin. She is a wealthy Korean heiress that is forced to make an urgent landing in North Korea while she was on a paragliding trip because of unexpected high winds, and from that incident, she meets the North Korean officer Ri Jung Hyuk who is played by Hyun Bin. The officer then falls in love with the rich heiress while he was trying to hide and protect her.

The cast of the drama explained what they feel about the upcoming series.The lead actor Hyun Bin said, "The script was really fun," and talked about how the unexpected, fun and thrilling story-line will be interesting to watch out for. He also added, "I think it will be a drama with a lot of things I'm good at expressing," pointing out that he's completely compatible with his character Ri Jung Hyuk, who is a strong and righteous man that follows the rules but is also a warm and kind-hearted man that treats those around him well.

Son Ye Jin, on the other hand, plays the role of Yoon Se Ri. She stated that "I'm appearing in a romantic comedy for the first time in a while, and I didn't hesitate at all when choosing this drama." The lead actress explained that she will be able to portray a character who shows her own personality. The additional cast is Seo Ji Hye who plays the role of Seo Dan. She is a professional cellist who is very perfect in every aspect. The actress also said in the interview that being a part of the drama gave her a unique and fun experience. She thought the series will be a great platform to show people from the South how the North Korean people live. Another one is, Kim Jung Hyun, who portrays the young businessman Ku Seung Jun. The supporting actor shared that he loved the idea of how the drama shows various characters representing the North. Although there are tons of contrasting situations in the drama, in the end, everything worked perfectly.
