KBS 2TV's new drama "Soul Repairer" directed by Yoo Hyun-ki announced on December 16 that Shin Ha-Kyun and Jung So-min will play the lead roles in the series. Soul Repairer is a story about psychiatrists caring for patients living in a crazy and tough world. Through various episodes, it will portray where happiness comes from and convey a warm message that will comfort the viewers.
Actress Shin Ha-Kyun, who is known for her great acting talents and skills, plays the role of Lee Si-jun. She's a specialist in mental health medicine at a general hospital that does her best to care for her patients.
Jung So-min will play the role of the rising star actor Han Woo-Joo who works for the music industry. His character is passionate with a strong sense of justice. However, he is mentally troubled and is trying to find himself.
Meanwhile, "Soul Repairer" was written by Lee Hyang-hee, who asked viewers in-depth questions about human mentality and reality through "My Lawyer, Mr. Jo Season 1" and "War of Money." This is his first drama which focuses on psychiatric illnesses.
The production company Monster Union mentioned "We have a plan to share stories that are a common problem in this era. We want to look into the wounds and pains of the daily lives of people living in the present age and convey a message of empathy and comfort. We are trying to make a good drama with good acting and a great team."
