Lee Je-Hoon has always felt that he has a passion for acting. That is the reason why he dropped out of the Biotechnology major at Korea University and went to pursue his dream of acting at the School of Drama at Korea National University of Arts. On the 25th of October 2012, Lee Je-Hoon was enlisted for his mandatory military service as a member of the Seoul Metropolitan Police Agency riot police. He was dismissed on the 24th of July in the year 2014. Lee Je-Hoon then got a comeback project; he chose the drama titled "Secret Door" a period drama about a crown prince who was executed by his own father King Yeongjo through death by starvation. On the 16th of December, a source from his agency, Saram Entertainment, confirmed, "Lee Je Hoon has decided to take the lead role of Jo Sang Goo in the upcoming Netflix original drama Move to Heaven."
The drama is about an ex-convict who has no dreams or hopes for is the future. He meets a youngster with Savant syndrome who works as a "trauma cleaner". In the story, they will both discover the importance of life and death and family and communication. The movie is based on a non-fiction essay by Kim Sae Byul titled The Things We Leave Behind about their job as a trauma Cleaner. Most of you ask, "What is a trauma cleaner?" It is a job where they clean up the crime scenes and organizes the things and belongings of the deceased.
Lee Je Hoon's plays the role of Jo Sang Goo, a rough and cold person who makes it hard for people to guess what kind of life he's lived. He is rude towards other people and the only thing that he cares about is money. He is trained in fighting and becomes an illegal martial arts fighter. He is sent to prison after his component collapsed.
