What will be the future of Carol on The Walking Dead? Melissa McBride shares some information about her character.

Last week's episode of The Walking Dead, Carol informed Rick that she was the one who killed Tyreese's sick girlfriend in order to prevent the spread of the virus. Many fans were wondering what Rick will do after knowing that.

After finding supplies and food, Rick told her that he doesn't trust her and said she was not welcome to come back to the prison. Then, Rick gave her some supplies then left her.

Personally, I'm kind of siding with the two of them. On one hand, what Carol did was a brave thing because she was thinking of the common good. On the other hand, what Rick was thinking was also good since the means.

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Melissa McBride shared her reaction to what happened in the episode and what will be her character's future.

When asked how she reacted about Rick's decision to kick her out of the prison she answered: "I didn't see that coming! I was pretty floored and I love it. I liked where it went. I looked at it from the story and thought, "God, how ironic." This choice that Rick has made, there's so much going on and so many parallels."

"There are so many ways to turn what's going on here to find these parallels between Rick and Carol, between what she's done and what everyone has done in some way. I can't help but really like the way that this went down," she added.

She was also asked if she thinks Carol would go back to prison for Lizzie and Mika and she said, "I certainly hope, she knows someone has to take care of them because that was Ryan's dying request."

The questions for the next episode would be: Will Rick tell the group what happened to Carol? Will he tell them the truth or not? How will the group react especially Daryl?
