The Real Housewives of Atlanta is back for their sixth season. Here are some highlights on what happened in the season premiere.
1. The NewlyWeds
NeNe and Gregg Leakes opens her wedding gifts from her friends. She received Hermes plates from Teresa and Joe Guidice of Real Housewives of New Jersey. But while all of this is happening, Gregg wants to remind her that from now on its NeNe and Gregg and not just NeNe.
After opening a gift from Porsha, the couple talked about the marital woes that Porsha is currently in. NeNe seems to be siding to Porsha because she said: "Kordell really knows how to break up with a b**ch. I mean, 'We broke up,' BOOM, there it is."
2. Second Chances
Porsha Stewart still wants to make her marriage work. She paid a visit to her divorce lawyer Randy Kessler because of an upcoming deposition. While she was there, instead of making a list of the assets and properties she wants, she wants to make a list on how to fix her marriage. If Kordell would agree to her list then she would call off the divorce.
3. Cynthia's New Space Courtesy of Peter
Cynthia's The Bailey Agency has moved into a new space. However, she was surprised when husband Peter Thomas confessed that he owns the building. He bought the building six months ago without asking for her permission. This is totally infuriating for Cynthia since her money was also used in the purchase.
4. Kandi and Mama Joyce
Kandi Burruss and Todd Tucker plan their wedding. However, Mama Joyce believes that Todd only wants to marry Kandi for financial gain.
5. The truth about Kordell
It looked like Kordell really wants out of the marriage with Porsha as they went through the deposition. Porsha went to her mother's house after the deposition and was surprised at how Kordell answered honestly about details of their married life such as when he locked Porrsha out of his house at times. Diane, however, supported Porsha in this emotional period of her life.
6. The Reunion at the party
During Cynthia's grand opening event, all of the cast reunite. But the most interesting part of the night was when NeNe and Kenya go head-to-head.
What will happen in the next episode? All of the seeds of conflict in the season premiere will surely end in lots of fights in the future episodes this season.
