"My Holo Love" is a one-of-a-kind love story. It centers on the story of three extraordinary characters. So Yeon, played by Ko Sung-Hee has a problem with So-Yeon played by Ko Sung-Hee has a problem remembering faces. Because of this, she hides and keeps a distance from other people.
Along the way, So-Yeon becomes a beta tester for the hologram AI Holo played by Yoon Hyun-Min. AI Holo becomes completely on her side. Being with So-Yeon, AI Holo thinks hard and realizes the limitations of artificial intelligence. On the other hand, Nan-Do also played by Yoon Hyun-Min is the developer of AI Holo.
Nan-Do looks exactly like AI Holo, but his personality and character is completely different. While watching So-Yeon and AI Holo, he feels something that he cannot determine, something that he has never felt before.
However, Al Holo eventually realizes his limit of being a robot with artificial intelligence. And at the same time, his developer Nando slowly develops deep feelings for So Yeon as he sees her interaction with the robot.
In this drama, Yoon Hyun Min is being challenged with a dual role portraying the characters of the robot Holo and its creator Nando. A sneak peek into the teaser: seeing So Yeon breaks her lonely solitary life. In the newly released teaser of the drama, it shows Ko Sung Hee's character - So Yeon who was living a lonely existence. She then finds new meaning in her life by wearing a one of a kind eyeglass.
Through this, she meets high-tech AI hologram Holo and changes her daily routine. At the end of the video teaser, it shows a drunk So Yeon interacting with the robot holo, but when she kissed him, her lips were locked into a real person.
The story is made to create a romantic relationship between the pictured characters holo with his devotion to So Yeon, who has silently wanted to feel the warmth in her solitary life. Both their love story will be one of the drawing points of the drama. Plus the love situation between So Yeon and Nando - Holo's developer arise interest to the viewers as well.
This drama is directed by Lee Sang Yeob who created "Familiar Wife" and "Shopaholic Louis". The series is written by the renowned screenwriter Ryu Yong Jae of "Time Between Dog and Wolf fame." In an interview, director Lee shared that this is an emotional romantic drama about young people who seem to have glamorous lives but are suffering from broken hearts.
He also added that what is especially intriguing is one of the main character's existence as an AI hologram. This drama is about a unique love triangle and a heartwarming contemporary story of togetherness.
My Holo Love will is scheduled to premiere on February 7, 2020, exclusively on Netflix.
