The viewership ratings are being conducted and provided by two companies which are the AGB Nielsen Media Research and TNmS. At first, the Media Service was the only company giving out such information but it was later on acquired by Nielsen Media Research. In the year 1999 TNS Media Korea also started doing these surveys and eventually changed its name to TNmS.

The AGB Nielsen Media Research collects and surveys the viewership database on 2050 households. On the other hand, TNmS has 2000 households containing measuring devices. The ratings of the drama normally differ by the two surveying companies by the range of 2-3%.

"Stove League" continues to be in control of its time slot. On February 1, according to Nielsen Korea the SBS drama "Stove League" collected an average nationwide rating of 16.0 percent and a peak of 19.0 percent.

In the main population-based viewers that are ranged to the ages 20 to 49, the drama hit the score rating of 8.6 percent making this drama the most-viewed TV show of the day including the variety shows.

"Stove League" will tell the story of two managers trying their best to upgrade their baseball team from the bottom of the league to the top.

Right after their premiere, "Itaewon Class" gained a strong rating last January 31. But Park Seo Joon's new drama "Itaewon Class" performed even better when the second episode was released. This drama starred by Park Seo Joon gained the viewership ratings of 5.3 nationwide and 5.6 in the Seoul metropolitan area.

"Itaewon Class" is a drama that is based on the webtoon of the same name or title penned by author Kwang Jin. The drama tells the story of Park Sae-ro-yi played by actor Park Seo Joon who opens a restaurant in Itaewon after his father's death and experiencing all the hardships.

The tvN's drama "Crash Landing on You" remained as the most-viewed cable drama in its time slot. It has received average ratings of 14.2 and a peak of 16.3. In the key demographic of viewers ages 20 to 49 survey, the drama garnered average ratings of 9.0 and peaked at 10.0 percent. As of the moment, "Crash Landing on You" is still the most famous drama with female viewers in their forties, with whom the ratings peaked at 20.3 percent.

"Crash Landing on You," tells the story of two characters living in opposite worlds. A South Korean heiress and a North Korean persona who happens to be an army officer protect the heiress at all costs.

The OCN drama titled "Tell Me What You Saw" starred by Jang Hyuk, Girls' Generation's Sooyoung, and Jin Seo Yeon garnered a nationwide average rating of 2.0 percent.

While the KBS2's "Beautiful Love Wonderful Life" gave out the score of average ratings of 20.3 percent and 25.0 percent for its two parts. The MBC's "Never Twice" gained the ratings of 7.1 percent, 8.8 percent, 8.1 percent, and 9.5 percent.

The TV Chosun's historical drama "Queen: Love and War" gained its highest ratings so far with an average of 4.5 percent and a peak of 5.0 percent nationwide.

Lastly, Channel A's beautifying drama titled "Touch" on that night collected 0.9 percent in ratings.
