The tvN's upcoming drama "(I Don't Know Much But) We Are Family" narrates the story about turning into strangers and actual strangers becoming family with one another.
Kim Eun-Hee portrayed by actress Han Ye-Ri will play the character of a publishing company employee. She is the second daughter in her family. Her personality in this drama is tender and thoughtful, a gentle person and an easily-trusting nature. She is a very friendly girl the reason she got the nickname 'civil counseling center' when she was still in high school.
This story will show that as people get older they tend to spend lesser time with their families or loved ones or eventually live their own lives separately.
It also shows that there will come a time that they'll meet someone who they share most of their time with and develop feelings and even share their secrets with.
Upon this circumstance, the family will gradually become strangers to one another and the people that they are building relationships with becoming like family. It's a twist of situations.
(I Don't Know Much But) We Are Family will be directed by Kwon Young-il. Director Kwon Young-il also co-directed the drama. The drama is written by Kim Eun-Jung who also penned "Sweet Stranger And Me."
The drama is scheduled and expected to air sometime in the first half of 2020.
Actress Han Ye-ri was last seen in her last project the historical drama titled "Nokdu Flower." She portrayed the female lead role in this drama alongside actors Jo Jung-suk and Yoon Shi-Yoon. As of the moment, she is in the process of currently promoting her first Hollywood film titled "Minari" with her co-stars in the film Korean-American actor Steven Yeun, and veteran Korean actress Youn Yuh-Jung. "Minari" is directed by Lee Isaac Chung.
This film is the fifth film from Lee Isaac Chung, the story is based on his childhood as inspiration. The story setting is in the early 1980s where parents Jacob portrayed by Steven Yeun and Monica as Han Ye-ri decided to move their American-born children out of the city to live in the rural of Arkansas where Jacob planned to make a remote land into a farm to plant and grow vegetables and make it a business selling it to immigrant families.
The movie "Minari " will share the story of a Korean-American boy trying to achieve his American dream. The said film is invited to compete this year at one of the biggest film festivals in America which is the Sundance Film Festival, where it had received a standing ovation.
