Netflix's "Kingdom" second season premiere is only a month away! And we know everyone is looking forward to it. The series is a zombie sageuk that takes place in the Joseon era. A sageuk is a Korean TV or film drama that is based on either historical figure, having historical events, or is using a historical backdrop.
Attempting to save the people during a plague the crown prince Lee Chang played by Joo Ji Hoon came back to his palace to find the source of the disease and uncovers other hidden secrets and plots within the palace.
The first season of "Kingdom" ended with a shocking finish making the fans and viewers overly excited for the upcoming second season. In the main poster shown, it features the main characters cornered to the roof while escaping from the zombies that have uncontrollably increased in numbers.
The dawn is already breaking after the night of horror, and this is related to the first season's shocking final scene which the finale showed a huge army of zombies swarming in. The words that are written on the poster reads, "Who will be the ones to make it out alive?" Each and every character looks problematic and helpless making the viewers more anticipated for the intense second season.

The First script reading and traditional ceremony to bring about good fortune took place last February 8, 2019.
Filming of the "Kingdom" season 2 began on February 12, 2019.
