The Producing Director of SBS's "Running Man" named (PD) Jung Chul Min was reported to be leaving SBS's "Running Man" after 10 long years of being with the show. Last February 5th, 2020 the SBS network announced through a statement reporting the departure of the "Running Man" Producing Director Jung Chul Min.

In the statement, it is said that he is stepping down from his role as the Producing Director of the 'Running Man' show. Moving forward, the torch will be passed down to the new PD Choi Bo Pil. According to the statement that SBS released, it clarified the main reason behind the stepping down of (PD) Jung Chul Min, the reason was that he will take a break. His last filming on the show was February 18, 2020.

Mk Sports conducted an interview yesterday February 18 on PD Jung Chul Min after his last filming day. The Producing Director stated that he spent the seven years of his 11 years career as a PD with 'Running Man.' He's also shared that his beginning and end was 'Running Man'. So he feels a lot of affection towards the show.

The cast and members of the shows all feel like his family already. He added that it is not the last time that he going to see the members of the show and everyone. So he just enjoyed himself and he felt grateful as he ended his time with the show. He felt like he was graduating from a school that he's been attending for a long time since he's been directing the show for many years

PD Jung Chul Min also gave thanks and expressed his gratitude to the viewers of the show. She said that he worked hard. From the start when he was given the obligation of such a big program, he was worried that he would cause problems but the viewers showed so much love and generous support to him that he wants to thank them sincerely. The producing director also promised that he will work hard so that he can return with another good program.

Also this February 18 it was reported that Lee Kwang Soo was in a car accident over the weekend that and due to the accident he acquired a fractured ankle so he had to be in surgery and will be unable to take part in the "Running Man" filming.

Jung Chul Min and Lee Kwang Soo spoke over the phone before the filming. The PD said that he thinks it's best if Lee Kwang Soo would focus on his treatment as of the moment rather than overdoing it by participating in filming since he is not in a good condition. He also shared that they talked before Lee Kwang Soo went in for the surgery, and he'll be resting now after his surgery. The PD Jung Chul Min is planning to call and visit him once he's in a better state.

Jung Chul Min plans to return with a new show after taking his break and rest assured that "Running Man" is in good hands with Choi Bo Pil who has been an assistant director for the show.
