The Netflix "Kingdom" second season premiere is less than a month away! And lots of fans and viewers are excited to watch it already. "Kingdom" is a zombie sageuk that happened in the Joseon era. In English language literature, sageuk is referring to historical films and television series.

The drama series "Kingdom" is a mystery thriller that addresses a zombie apocalypse taking place in the Joseon era. To continue the first season of the series, the second season will follow the crown prince's battle to keep his people safe while feeling as though he can't trust anyone.

In the teaser shown, the second season will start from where the first season ended. Having the crown prince Lee Chang portrayed by Joo Ji Hoon looking in great fear at zombies that don't go to sleep during the day time like they used to before and instead they just keep on charging and attacking ahead. While Prime minister Jo Hak Joo played by Ryu Seung Ryong still continues to push Lee Chang into a corner and Seo Bi portrayed by Bae Doona is being close to the symptoms and cause of the zombie outbreak. The crown prince Lee Chang seems to be more firm than before as he said that they must save the people and asking everyone if they would follow him.

After encountering their very long journey, Lee Chang was seen aiming his sword at the throne and claims that the palace does not belong to them referring to The Queen portrayed by Kim Hye Joon who is at the other end of the sword as she gives him a silly smile while looking down at Prince Lee Chang.

In the teaser, the tagline was tagged as "Face off against the living and stop the dead". It reflects on the hardships that Prince Lee Chang has to face to repel the zombie outbreak at the same time having to deal with the Jo family's greed and ambition. Lastly in the final scene of the teaser shows Lee Chang saying, "They used to disappear when the sun rose," and looking back into a dark void as the sound of zombies nears."
