Lee Jung Hoon (Kim Dong-Wook) couldn't contain his emotions and asked Yeo Ha Jin (Moon Ga-Young) if she knew Jung Seo Yun (Lee Joo-Bin). Jung Hoon's painful flashbacks of his first love, Seo Yin, kept coming back in the recent episode of Find Me in Your Memory. However, Ha Jin said she doesn't know anyone named Seo Yun.
The following morning, Ha Jin mentioned to her sister Ha Kyung about the name Seo Yun. She shared that Jung Hoon is serious about the girl's name. Ha Kyung left Ha Jin in the kitchen and went to her room. She took a box, unlocked it and looked at the old pictures, revealing that Seo Yun and Ha Jin were childhood best friends. They met at the ballet school and became good friends. They were classmates in high school and spent most of their time together. A memory of them appeared wherein they were enjoying eating their favorite hotdog on a stick while looking at the view of Han river.
Jung Hoon visited his neurologist Tae Eun in his clinic. He asked Tae Eun why he never shared anything about Ha Jin. The first time he met Ha Jin in the studio he confided in him. Jung Hoon researched and discovered that Ha Jin was Seo Yun's best friend. Unfortunately, when asked about Seo Yun, Ha Jin couldn't remember anything. Tae Eun explained that he tried to disclose it due to the patient's right to confidentiality yet he shared the story since Tae Eun values their friendship.
When Seo Yun died, Ha Jin fell into depression and lost the drive to live. Due to severe anxiety attacks and breakdown, her family decided to get professional help. She was sent to hospital for mental health treatment. She was missing her dear friend so much.
Then, Ha Jin attempted to take her own life by overdosing on sleeping pills. When she woke up, Ha Jin started acting differently. She talked and smiled at everyone. She never remembered her past since then.
Tae Eun, together with Ha Jin's family, kept all the pictures of Seo Yun and anything that will remind her of her lost friend. Ha Jin forgetting about her past through her positive outlook in life is remarkable. Her memory relapse allowed her to live a normal life again.
Ha Jin attended a press conference to promote her upcoming movie. The media asked her what she thinks of Jung Hoon as her boyfriend. Ha Jin played along with the media and talked good things about Jung Hoon. After the event, good articles were released and the pre-selling of her movie tickets sky-rocketed. It was a hit, thanks to her pretend relationship with Jung Hoon.
Ha Jin invited Jung Hoon if they can meet after his work to discuss something important. Jung Hoon agreed to meet her and he wanted to talk to her as well. In a private coffee shop, they spent the lovely night overlooking the city lights. Ha Jin shared the success of her career when they became a pretend couple in love. She asked if they can make it for two months or more. Jung Hoon agreed to continue what she is planning, telling her that all he wants is her happiness. Ha Jin felt so happy about it.
Jung Hoon then slowly told Ha Jin not to bother him anymore. He doesn't want to see or talk to her ever again. Ha Jin was shocked by his words. They parted ways with Ha Jin's broken heart.
