On Tuesday, April 14, Culture Depot, actress Claudia Kim's (Kim Soo Hyun) label, shared a joyful news through an official press statement.
Culture Depot announced that Claudia is currently 15-weeks pregnant. She is taking her break and will just focus on her pregnancy for the meantime, while carrying out necessarily schedules accordingly. The label added that they want to give thanks to everyone for their cheer congratulations to the actress.
This is first pregnancy of actress Claudia since she tied the knot to businessman Cha Min Geun (Matthew Shampine) in December of 2019. After their marriage, Claudia started filming for her new pre-production Korean drama titled Chimera and just recently finished all the shooting.

Claudia Kim was born January 25, 1985. A South Korean actress and model, her debut to the acting industry was in November of 2006 when she starred in the the television drama titled Queen of the Game.
The actress was born in Seoul, South Korea. She, however, spent six years of her childhood in the United States before coming back to her homeland. While in middle school, she dreamt of being an international lawyer, and in high school, she hoped of becoming a TV anchor. Claudia openly shared that she was inspired by watching CNN's headline news anchor Karuna Shinsho in Asia.
She finished her studies abroad and to be able to achieve her dream of being a TV anchor, Claudia enrolled in Ewha Womans University's Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS). While studying there she worked as a reporter and announcer for three years in Ewha Voice, the school's English-language newspaper.
Her love for entertainment led her to apply for the Super Model Contest. She made her entertainment debut way back 2005 when she took home the top prize in a Korea-China modeling contest in. Claudia was actually the first winner to gain the award without any modeling experience. It was her big break in the industry and since then, she participated in a German fashion show.
Soon after winning the supermodel competition, producer Oh Se-kang, who witnessed Claudia appearing on a morning talk show, offered her a role in his show, saying it is suitable for the Claudia to portray the role of an international lawyer.
Given this opportunity, she finally made her debut in the acting industry. She played the character of Park Joo-won, Lee Shin-jeon (Joo Jin-mo)'s close friend and a law firm's international lawyer who she loves. She won the New Star award at the 2006 SBS Awards for Acting for this particular drama.
