As Tae Wan describes himself: just like a lobster "as my shell is hardened, the weakness inside me, started to torture me to the point. That I couldn't even tell who I was anymore."
He offered Jin Sung a high-end alcohol drink "absinthe," which has a higher percentage of alcohol range, 55% - 75%, and mixed it sweet. Jun Sung describes with a sweet taste but has a musty aftertaste. Tae Wan explained that drinking such would make him feel braver about what he's going to do.
Jin Sung felt awkward after hearing Tae Wan's words. He tried to interrupt, but Tae Wan continued talking.
Tae Wan confessed his feelings, "I'm gay, and I like you a lot." Jin Sung's eyes were wide open and couldn't stop him. As he tried to avoid his stare, Tae Wan advised him that he is willing to wait for his answer.
The next day, Jin Sung went to the CK channel for a meeting, and he met Tae Wan in the elevator. They both feel awkward in getting on track with the conversation. This is why Tae Wan is afraid that Jin Sung would stay away from him if he admits his feelings.
Jin Sung invited Tae Wan for a drink. That moment he shared with Tae Wan his thoughts about his feelings towards him. Jin Sung insisted that Tae wan is a good person, and he couldn't find any flaws with it. But before he could explain more, Tae Wan cut him off and was convinced that Jin Sung rejected him.
Later that evening, he went out for a drink alone. Ah Jin saw and joined him at the bar. After a few drinks, Tae Wan shared his feelings and cried in front of Ah Jin. He felt happy when he was with Jin Sung, but his feelings can never be reciprocated more than as friends.
Ah Jin, at that moment, shared her sad experiences of being rejected by Jin Sung. Though she never mentioned his name, Tae Wan seemed to have feelings about it. She further explained that there are things that she wanted but better not to have it and get hurt.
Director Cha of CK requested for a season 2 for "Sweet Munchies." She pushed everyone to persuade Jin Sung to cast and be the host of the next set.
The whole team, except Ah Jin and producer Lee Sang-Young, knew about Jin Sung's true identity. Everyone thought that Jin Sung is gay and agreed to let him star in the show.
Jin Sung felt sad about how things turned out to be. They did not know that Jin Sung pretended to be gay to get the role and save money for his father's hospital bills. Jin Sung can't give the truth, or else the production team will be in big trouble.
Hyun Soo went out to get his regular check-up at the hospital. He called his son Jin Sung to inform him that he arrived in the city. On his way, he saw Jin Sung previewing an ad on a big screen across the street. The title, tagged as "gay chief," shocked him and felt worried about Jin Sung. He then realized that his son mentioned working hard to pay the bills and not to let him worry about it.
After a few days, Tae Wan can't help thinking about Jin Sung and their last conversation. He invited the whole team to have a drink at the Bistro.
As he got inside, Jin Sung was standing at the bar. He informed him of the meet-up that night. Tae Wan informed him that he is ready to share with everyone that he is gay, and it is time for him to come out to the public of who he is.
Jin Sung was puzzled, and with a firm voice, he told Tae Wan that he is not gay, and he is giving a fake identity to everyone. Tears flowed as Tae Wan looked him straight in the eye. Ah Jin and the rest of the team arrived after.
