MBC "Empress Ki" broke its own record and held steadfast in first place among Monday/Tuesday dramas.
According to research ratings company Neils5 Korea, "Empress Ki" broadcast on November 5th rated 14.5% in nationwide ratings.
This is 1.7% higher than the last episode at 12.9% and it's the highest that this drama had recorded. "Empress Ki" started with 11.1% in ratings and ratings have gone up with every episode as it strengthened its spot in #1.
Before broadcasting, there was also controversies about fudging history but with a fast past plot develop and great acting, it is rising to the top.
On the 4th episode, Wang Yu (played by Ju Jin Mo) and Ta Hwan (played by Ji Chang Wook) both are interested in Ki Seung Nyang (played by Ha Ji Won) and started a love triangle. Ta Hwan rode a horse out to the sea and was intimate with Ki Seung Nyang and Wang Yu became strangely jealous.
Meanwhile, dramas airing at the same time KBS2 "Mirae's Choice" rated 5.3% and SBS "The Suspicious Housemaid" rated 10.3%.
